The Origin of "Bougie" My desire to be unique started as a little girl. I was the child who "always went left" when the crowd went right. I despised cookie-cutter fashion and spent my time dreaming of designer purses, big curly hair, and perfectly coordinated outfits. I was a baby Diahann Carroll in the making! My dad watched my high-maintenance creativity unfold and gave me the nickname that would follow me forever: "Bougie."
A Recipe for Style Creativity doesn't stay in one lane for me. My background in culinary arts taught me that the most memorable results come from the perfect "mise en place"—the intentional gathering of colors, textures, and premium ingredients. Whether I’m holding a chef’s knife or a pair of jewelry pliers, my philosophy remains the same: I don't mass-produce. I curate.
My "Superpower" Quality I am a creative spirit with a deep obsession with detail (my OCD is my secret weapon!). Every bead is chosen with intention, and every knot is tied with precision.
